About Sandy

MeetSandy

Hi, I’m Sandy, a Zürich-based traveler who spends every free weekend and vacation day chasing scenic roads, quiet beaches, and good coffee.

She Travels More started as a place to share the trips I was already obsessively planning for myself. You’ll find honest opinions, real photos, practical tips, and the things I wish I’d known before going.

My Travel Style

I love road trips, scenic roads, national parks, quiet beaches, small towns, and beautiful hotels.

My perfect trip is a mix of exploring and slowing down. I’m happiest with a camera in my hand, a beautiful road ahead, and enough time for a long breakfast with good coffee.

I also love Thai food, relaxed beach days, and trips where not every minute is planned. Ice cream is non-negotiable wherever I am, and Cookies & Cream is almost always my choice.

We travel as a couple, and every photo you see on this site comes from our own travels.

Where I Travel

Hawai’i has a very special place in my heart, especially O’ahu. Eight trips and counting, including a full month living there.

Road trips through the USA are my other big passion. I love the famous places, but often it’s the scenic roads, small towns, and unexpected stops along the way that stay with me the longest.

The Bahamas and Turks and Caicos are where I go for turquoise water, quiet beaches, and slower days.

And because I live in Zurich, I also share Switzerland from a local perspective.

One Last Thing: Try the Malasadas

And if you ever make it to O’ahu, try the malasadas from Leonard’s Bakery. Trust me on this one.
